A man accused of attempting to assassinate Donald Trump has pleaded not guilty to federal charges, including attempted assassination. Ryan Wesley Routh appeared in a federal court in West Palm Beach, Florida, on Monday, shortly after a grand jury issued a five-count indictment against him. Authorities allege that Routh spent 12 hours camped outside Trump’s golf course before being spotted by Secret Service agents while armed with a rifle. This incident marks the second assassination attempt on Trump since July. Routh's brief court appearance comes as the legal proceedings surrounding the case begin to unfold.
