Israelis sue UN agency for aiding Hamas

A group of Israelis who were affected by Hamas' attack on October 7th have filed a lawsuit against the United Nations agency that provides assistance to Palestinians. The lawsuit alleges that the agency's practice of paying Gaza staff in dollars indirectly supports Hamas, as the militant group is able to benefit from the currency. The Israelis involved in the lawsuit, including those who were taken hostage or lost loved ones in the attack, are seeking accountability and justice for the role they believe the UN agency played in aiding Hamas.
