Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stated that the intense phase of fighting in Rafah is coming to a close. However, he has also issued a warning of potential war on Lebanon as Israel deploys additional troops to the northern border in order to address the threat posed by the militant group Hezbollah.

US Navy Seals commemorated the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landing at Utah Beach by re-enacting the historic event. Hundreds of participants, dressed in Second World War-era uniforms, gathered at the beach before sunrise. Utah Beach was one of the five Allied landing zones where troops bravely faced enemy fire as they waded through the cold waters on that fateful day eight decades ago. Today, the once chaotic battlefield is now a peaceful and solemn place of remembrance.
