Ukrainians living in Warsaw gathered on the banks of the Vistula River to celebrate the traditional Ivan Kupalo Night on Saturday. Away from their war-torn homeland, they participated in the age-old customs of jumping over a bonfire and floating braids to honor the elements of water and fire. The event was a way for the Ukrainian community in Warsaw to connect with their cultural heritage and celebrate the summer solstice in a meaningful way.
