Four members of Britain's wealthiest family, the Hindujas, have been sentenced to jail by a Swiss court for exploiting Indian staff at their Geneva mansion. The prosecutors alleged that the family underpaid the staff and restricted their freedom to leave the mansion. Although the Hindujas were not present in court, they were acquitted of human trafficking charges but found guilty of other offenses. This verdict comes as a shock for the family, whose wealth is estimated at £37bn.
