Mark Cavendish is poised to participate in his final professional race at the two-day Tour de France Criterium in early November, as announced by the event organizers in Singapore. At 39 years old, Cavendish has an impressive record of 165 stage victories, including a historic 35 wins at the Tour de France. However, he has not raced since achieving this remarkable feat in July. The Isle of Man cyclist also boasts an individual silver medal from the 2016 Rio Olympics and has secured three world titles in the Madison discipline. Despite his upcoming retirement from professional racing, Cavendish has stated, "I’ve still got races this year. I’m still training for them."
