Arizona lawmakers are set to make a final decision on a proposal that would allow local police to arrest individuals crossing the border from Mexico outside of designated entry points. The proposal aims to make it a state crime for noncitizens to enter Arizona through unauthorized locations. The vote is scheduled for Tuesday and if approved, the proposal will be put to voters for their decision.
