The 31-year-old Lozowski last represented England in 2018 during a match against Japan, where he earned one of his five caps. That game is often referred to among players as the “black hole” match, as several players, including Lozowski, were dropped after being substituted at halftime, leading to their exclusion from future selections by then-coach Eddie Jones.
