A recent survey has revealed that a majority of Manchester United fans prefer the construction of a new stadium over the redevelopment of the iconic Old Trafford. Among over 50,000 participants, including season ticket holders, members, and executive club members, 52% expressed a desire for a new ground, while only 31% supported the idea of renovating the existing stadium. Seventeen percent of respondents remained undecided regarding the best course of action. The owners of the club are currently considering these options in collaboration with the Old Trafford regeneration taskforce, which features notable figures such as former United defender Gary Neville, Greater Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham, and World Athletics President Lord Coe. Recommendations from this task force are expected to be released next year.
