Scottish Greens have called for the abandonment of the £40 million Loch Lomond resort project if it is rejected in an upcoming vote. The Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park Authority is set to make a decision on the Flamingo Land development proposal on Monday. The Yorkshire-based theme park operator is proposing the Lomond Banks project, which includes plans for two hotels, over 100 self-catering lodges, a water park, and various other amenities along the shores of Loch Lomond. The Scottish Greens argue that if the proposal is turned down, it should mark the end of the development plans.
