Israel has issued evacuation orders for residents of approximately 30 villages along its southern border with Lebanon as military operations intensify. This marks the first significant directive since the Israeli military initiated what it describes as “limited, localized, and targeted ground raids” against Hezbollah. The operation, named “Northern Arrow,” commenced with a series of shelling attacks into southern Lebanon late last night. Israeli officials stated that ground troops would be deployed to target areas in villages near the border that are deemed to pose an immediate threat to communities in northern Israel. Residents have been instructed to leave their homes immediately and relocate to safer areas in the northern part of the country.
