Lewis Hamilton has expressed concerns that Max Verstappen has continued to exhibit dangerous driving behavior since their intense rivalry during the 2021 world championship. Hamilton, who previously labeled Verstappen's driving as reckless and suggested he acted as if the rules did not apply to him, believes that little has changed in Verstappen's approach. Verstappen has recently come under scrutiny for his driving in the last two races in Austin and Mexico, where he was involved in contentious incidents with McLaren's Lando Norris. In Austin, Verstappen forced Norris wide, leading to a penalty for the British driver, although many felt Verstappen had entered the corner with excessive speed. In Mexico, Verstappen was penalized twice for pushing Norris off the track. Despite the criticism, Verstappen has responded defiantly, dismissing the concerns as biased and irritating. Hamilton's comments suggest that he sees a continuation of the dangerous tactics that characterized their previous encounters.
