A progressive prosecutor in Minnesota, who ran on a platform of police accountability, has made the difficult decision to drop charges against a state trooper who shot and killed a Black man during a traffic stop. Initially hesitant to do so, the prosecutor ultimately decided to follow the evidence and the law in this case.
