A Nevada state court judge dismissed a criminal indictment on Friday against six Republicans who were accused of submitting false certificates to Congress declaring Donald Trump as the winner of the state's 2020 presidential election. The judge ruled that state prosecutors had chosen the wrong venue to file the case, potentially ending the legal proceedings. Nevada's attorney general, Aaron Ford, immediately announced that he would be taking the case directly to the state supreme court following the ruling by Clark County District Court Judge Mary Kay Holthus.
