Morocco is diligently working to restore the Great Mosque of Tinmel, a 12th-century structure that was severely damaged by a powerful earthquake in 2023. The mosque, located in the High Atlas mountains, was already in the midst of a significant reconstruction effort when the earthquake struck. Now, efforts are focused on rebuilding the historic site, brick by brick, to preserve its cultural and architectural heritage.
