Tragedy struck in Melbourne as two young sisters, aged five and one, lost their lives following a house fire in Sydenham. The children succumbed to their injuries in the hospital after being rescued alongside their brother from the burning home. Emergency services responded to the scene on Sunday night, where they encountered a brick property engulfed in smoke and flames. The three children were found unconscious inside the house and were immediately transported to the hospital for urgent medical care. Unfortunately, despite the efforts of medical personnel, the two sisters passed away nearly three days later.
