Tragic Drownings: 46 Lives Lost, Mostly Children, During Hindu Festival in Bihar

Tragedy struck in the eastern state of Bihar, India, where at least 46 individuals, predominantly children, lost their lives due to drowning while bathing in rivers and ponds that had swelled from recent floods. This incident occurred during the Jivitputrika Vrat, a Hindu festival celebrated by millions across the country.
