Benjamin Mendy, the former Manchester City defender, has achieved a partial victory in his legal battle against the Premier League club regarding over £11 million in unpaid wages. This comes after Mendy was acquitted of sexual offences. The French international filed a claim with an employment tribunal last year, seeking compensation for unpaid wages and interest from the time the club ceased payments in September 2021 until the conclusion of his contract in June 2023.
