A man's disturbing plan to abduct and kill television presenter Holly Willoughby was foiled by a US police officer, a court has revealed. Gavin Plumb, a convicted violent offender, had shared graphic details of his plan online. Plumb, who was obsessed with Willoughby, had meticulously planned to kidnap her from her home, take her to his residence in Harlow, Essex, and then murder her in an abandoned building. The court heard how the undercover officer based in the US intervened to prevent the heinous crime from taking place.
